Gutter City has faced its share of challenges over the last year. We’ve seen adversity, witnessed hardships, and felt the weight of uncertainty. But I want you to know that today is the dawn of a new era.

Most didn’t think a change was achievable. Thought it wouldn’t be possible to negotiate a deal where the founders relinquish complete control. Well it was. This was a decision that had to be made. At the end of the day, the founders wanted to do what is best for the community. To all that supported and believed in me throughout the process, thank you. I did this for all of us.

Gutter City has a rich history and a resilient spirit that I am proud to be a part of. Since the day I stumbled into the discord for the first time, I knew the Gutter was different. I’ve always felt comfortable in the chaos and today, we embrace a new era.

I am committed to fostering a city where everyone’s voice is heard and respected. We will prioritize transparency and accountability in everything that we do. Gutter City will be a place where citizens are empowered to actively participate in shaping our future.

The Gutter is not just another NFT project; it’s a community of people who care deeply about its well-being. The culture & community has become much more than a jpeg on the blockchain to me. I have witnessed the entrepreneurial spirit. The talent. The drive to build. Create something that is you, built by you. That is special. That is Gutter.

Now is a good time for us all to reflect on the lessons we have learned. This isn’t the summer of 2021 anymore. It won’t be easy to build a sustainable business. It certainly won’t happen overnight. But now it can happen. We won’t forget our past, it’s part of us. The comeback begins today. It’s time again to be proud to rep Gutter.

Let us also remember the importance of compassion and unity. Gutter City is a tapestry of different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives. It is our diversity that makes us strong. We must stand together, valuing each other’s uniqueness, and working towards a more inclusive and equitable future.

Unity is the cornerstone of any thriving community. It’s not about erasing our differences, but about embracing them, learning from them, and using them to strengthen our collective resolve. In unity, we find strength, resilience, and the power to overcome any obstacle that stands in our way.

State of the dopo Address:

With a heavy heart, I am here to announce that dopo has been placed on hold.

The current state of NFTs has created a climate in which it would be irresponsible to launch a new venture, no matter how much time and how many resources have been placed into it.

What does this mean for the dopo team?
We aren't going anywhere. Vel, Magnum, and myself are active members of this space and will continue to be so.

Simultaneously, it also means that Vel & I will now have some additional hours available to assist in or consult for other projects (which is something we've refrained from doing while building dopo).

What does this mean for Gutter Arcade?
It isn't entirely clear at the moment. There are a number of completed or nearly completed games/assets that I'm sure will see the light of day, but I couldn't tell you when.

We are grateful for all of your support throughout all of the fun and events and debauchery that have unfolded over the last 6 months. We hope to look back on today months or years down the line and laugh about it all.

Once again, thank you.. genuinely.
