Woah!
I guess this is a thing now!
Hello world of twitter!
My aim with this account is to not only provide travel information for those travelling on the Severn Valley Railway on days when I am on duty, but to tell stories, provide facts and to hopefully reach out to more
I apologize for the lack of tweets. I can assure you I'm safe and well!
A nice, quiet Sunday at Highley today, though weather is a bit... "British."
And, I'm wearing this fetching thing, inspired by a guard on the @TalyllynRailway!
Passengers definitely can't miss me now!
@TalyllynRailway Not a fan. That tail lamp is too low for my liking! 😉😉😂😂😂
Great to see a railway publically supporting this! Now, should we paint a GW Collett in similar colours.... 😂😂😂
We are here to support our colleagues on the mainline from
@NetworkRailSCOT@ScotRail and @BTPScotland, as well as the families who lost loved ones, and those who are injured.
A lovely gesture from my colleagues working on the @svrofficialsite today, in memory of yesterday's terrible events.

...whilst they were doing their job, is hard. Additionally, my cover photo has been changed to suit.
The less serious posts will be avoided for today.

Our of respect, both my cover photo and my profile photo have been changed, to show respect for the victims onboard 1T08...
This has hit those working in the rail industry, heritage or otherwise really hard. We are all one #railwayfamily, so losing one of our own...
@ScotRail@BTP It's been a sad day for all involved, and the rail industry as a whole.
Condolences to the family's of this involved, from myself and my colleagues.
1-in-11,000 chance of contracting COVID-19 on trains - coverage of our research in RAIL magazine - thanks @PaulCliftonBBC @RAIL and team, look out for this piece in the magazine itself in the next few days https://t.co/PhL0zvz8HS
Turns out, it's my turn to man #Highley Station on the @svrofficialsite
Remember to wear your face coverings on platforms, on our trains and inside our facilities, but remember to have fun as well!
Keep yourselves socially distanced from other bubbles as well!
