Feats for the Mail plus bad takes on cricket, tennis, shooting, fishing, real tennis, Welsh rugby, malt whisky, @herefordfc, etc... "Extremely rude" - Lady Mone
😭 Absolute classic sketch from Harry Enfield & Paul Whitehouse’s BAFTA-winning BBC series.
Harry and Paul do a brilliant parody of BBC Question Time: the clichéd audience questions, the sweaty nervous bloke in the jumper, the host’s withering put-downs, panelists waffling absolute nonsense… and all the timeless British political b*llocks in one perfect sketch. 😂
Still painfully accurate years later.
In April, Darren Jones denied sending a 'warm message' to Mandelson on the day he was sacked, claiming it was along the lines of 'I don't know what's going on...'
His actual message: 'You’ve been doing such a great job, and you worked wonders with Trump. I’m so sorry about today'
My team were laughing at me today. I was doing my usual Wednesday afternoon MSE meetings, which includes reviewing new tools and guide updates, the sort of thing where I tend to pull them apart and put them back together again.
Then I started going on about the underlines beneath our HTML links. I thought they were sitting too close to the text, and that we needed to add a couple of extra pixels of space to improve readability.
That was when the smiles started. 'And people always ask us whether you still get involved, or whether it’s just big picture stuff...' Once a geek, always a geek.
The fact it “cost” the Cabinet Office a million quid (by my maths just under £1k per page) to obtain and then redact these emails and WhatsApps speaks volumes
Breaking:
The Mandelson files have cost the Cabinet Office alone more than ***£1million***, Darren Jones says
'The documents we are publishing today are one of the largest Government publications ever laid before this House.
'This disclosure process has been wide-ranging, costing the Cabinet Office alone over £1million.
'As the House knows, this was an official-led process with judgments made by senior officials, and I am grateful for the careful work they have undertaken right up to today’s publication'
On account should anyone from outside the EU go on holiday to anywhere inside the EU this summer. Except for Greece since they have sensibly binned off this predictably shit system
Believe the news. This is Faro airport just now. This is after baggage check in and security. This is passport control to enter international departure terminal. I came 3 hours before, and it’s still tight for time.

Today, a man has been convicted of the murder of student Henry Nowak in Southampton. Throughout the trial, we have not discussed this case publicly to ensure that justice could be done but now we can share a message from DCC Robert France.
