"When you're around good people, it kind of makes it easy."

The family you choose is a motto that has become synonymous with the Griz program over the last several months.

For Bobby Kennedy (@Coachbk_griz) who himself was adopted as a child in Colorado, the mantra has a deeper meaning that has guided his life both on and off the football field.

From College Football Hall of Famer Mack Brown, his best friend Bruce Lipien, or to current players, they all say one thing: When it comes to BK, he's as genuine as it gets, and ready to lead the Grizzlies forward as the newest head coach, and the season finally here. #GrizFB

Say it louder for the people in the back. This goes for ALL levels of college basketball.

@ZachKuba Zach, great question. We look at all the attributes of a kid. Who can he guard? Can he shoot? Is he tough? Is he coach able? Has he improved since last time we saw him? I spend zero time caring about AAU stats, instead try to figure out level and how he would assimilate to D1

There will be high school baseball in Helena next spring

Helena Public Schools Board of Trustees votes 8-0 to approve the sport, beginning in 2027. Helena was the lone Class AA district without high school baseball

43 MT programs played baseball this spring
