Commissioner @OmariJHardy wasn't trying to hear the nonsense from Mayor Pam Triolo & City Manager Bornstein after they shut off the lights of residents last week. I appreciate his passion & am glad he chose to let the Mayor know her actions were unacceptable. #CoronaCrisis
The Garden Club have outdone themselves again. This picture does not do justice the work and effort they put into the mini-park on Main Street, it is Beautiful.
Our town thank them for all they do to beautify Du Quoin. Great work ladies.
Last night, I was sworn in for a second term as Mayor. This is the most enjoyable position I have ever held. Thank you for giving me and Rose Marie Alongi the opportunity to continue serving this community.
Today Dale Spencer and I had the opportunity to visit with and pass out to the Du Quoin 4th grader's trees for Arbor Day. Each will receive a Swamp Oak to plant. We thank District 300 for giving the City the pleasure of doing this each year.
Alexander's for dinner and then to the Civic Center to watch Nashville in the State Finals. Farewell Tour of Peoria with Roger Grumley #celebrityreferee lolololol.
Congrats to our band members who competed at the IHSA Solo and Ensemble Contest today! Du Quoin brought home 71- 1st Superiors and 7- 2nd Excellent Ratings! Nice work gang! #indianpride
Thank you Gallatin County High School for making my last Basketball game in the Black and White Stripes Special. The Career Basketball and Signed Jersey by your Hawks is greatly Cherished and Appreciated.
When I walk off the court on Friday Night after Thirty Three Years of Officiating Basketball it will be for the last time, I am retiring. I have had a good career calling (21) Regional Championships, (9) Sectional Finals, (4) Super-Sectionals and the 2018 State Finals.
An anonymous donor brought by $1,000 Dollars to me today with the instructions that the Du Quoin Police Department finds five needy families to help. Those five families are to receive $200 Dollars each to help them with Christmas for their children. Great jesture.
Thank you to Ryan Summers and his Government Class.
Yes, even Santa needs help. Today was the first mailing back to the Children who have left Letters to Santa at Croessman Square. Letters will continue to go out over the week.
Thanks Student for all you do.
