An award-winning Scottish comedian who was jailed in 2019, after he carried out a campaign of abuse and stalking against three women is now on lots of dating apps and social media sites 'looking for love' under fake names!

Stand-up John David McDade – who goes by the stage name JD Brown – from Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire was previously jailed for four years after he subjected three women to beatings and threats.

He abducted one victim, refusing to let her leave his home, and recorded another in a distressed state and threatened to send the footage to her employer.

Before being jailed at Airdrie Sheriff Court, the thug blew kisses to the two victims and smirked at them as he was led into the dock.

During vicious assaults on one victim, he slapped her, twisted her leg and punched her on the head and threatened another female with a knife.

On another occasion, a woman was tied up and locked in a cupboard by McDade before he dragged her up the stairs by her hair.

One of his victims said: 'He's a narcissist and preys on women he perceives as vulnerable'

He had appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court in 2013, where he was convicted of domestic abuse on three other women, but that time McDade was spared jail.
