@futures_trader4@Hullshow I don’t necessarily think that’s a fair statement. It’s not a matter of who the best player is. Deandre Jordan was a leader of the team, and he didn’t play.
I don’t have a problem Braun taking on a certain level of ownership. We don’t know what’s said in the locker room.
@MeserveRic67130@Hullshow UNC also offered something he probably didn’t see at CSU. Succeed at UNC, you’re getting $ and going to the NBA (more $). Fail at UNC, then he probably felt that the NBA wasn’t realistic, and either playing time was more important and getting $ from someone else.
@MeserveRic67130@Hullshow I don’t blame him. Not many would turn that down. But I sort of see it as “once you leave, it’s hard to come back”. Have another good year at CSU, he might get another 1 year offer for $2M. It seems that players aren’t as loyal as they used to be…because of money.
@CMartsCUBuffs@Hullshow I don’t think so. Waddle (with his ability to work the middle of the field) opens Sutton, Mims, and/or Franklin up. The safety will have to double Waddle, which opens everybody up. , including a TE who might work the middle better. I think Webb alone improves the offense.
@Boisabronco I like being the underdog! They can have us ranked 10th…doesn’t matter, as we still need to go play the game. Might as well do it with a chip on our shoulders!
@Kyle_Bell Not looking for anything significant, but perhaps it’s time to turn the offensive playcalling over to Davis Webb. On a smaller scale, it’s almost like Mike Shanahan needing to call plays over Reeves? Just thinking out loud!
@TroyRenck Yes, he needs to pitch better. But if I’m not mistaken, Dollander has the lowest BAA by a starter on the Rox. They have bigger fish to fry before we start questioning a 23 year old learning to pitch here. In 8 of his 12 losses, the Rox score 2 or fewer runs!
@Noisey_Crickket@Hullshow Agreed on this take. Took 50 seconds and ran 2 plays. There was no urgency. Also, with 18 seconds left, they didn’t need to throw to the end zone. You had 1 or 2 plays to throw 10-20 yard outs, then throw deep.
@xxLATUDAxx@Hullshow Exactly. I like Vele, but he’s also 27 years old in his 2nd year. The trade is a good sign that Franklin and Mims are ready. Bryant will be able to do what Vele did, maybe more!
