Can anyone help source a low weight, white faced insulation board that can be used when we restore the roof later this year ๐
The building has a white faced PIR insulation which ideally will be replaced.
Many thanks

@WFMuseums can you help source photos, maps, information to document Pontefract's liquorice heritage?
Is there someone I can speak to ?

Yet another great day at the Counting House today with Robert Howard & Alison Arnold of the Nottingham Tree-Ring Dating Laboratory. Despite the timbers being hundreds of years old that sweet smell still filled the building โค๏ธ #conservation#dendrochronology#pontefract

Evening all !
In my dad's memory I'd like to arrange for cast plaques for the Civic Trust Awards the Counting House received when she opened in 1994.
Is it possible for me to have a plaque made that records this ?
Thanks

Hi Adam
I'm intending to change the grey slates on the Counting House to reclaimed blue - to reduce the load to the timber frame.
You come highly recommended.
Would you be interested in doing the work ?

A great couple of days working on the Counting House, Pontefract.
My first experience working with lime mortar - loved the heat ๐
Bricklaying in lime mortar took longer than expected - it was dark when we finished!
