The current content isn't gone in case most of all of these concerns get resolved. But as it stands right now, the Guyzingear site has shut down.

We hoped to bring back the site with new features never seen on other similar sites, but could not get them started.

Since the site has been down for a while here's an update on why:

Over the many years, Guyzingear has had plenty of ups and downs. Too many downs. Some that should have been easy to recover from as well. But we failed too many times and didn't learn from those mistakes.

Combining this with a full time schedule for the current maintainer, recent laws in the EU to handle privacy that we don't have the money of time to review for compliance, and laws in the US of concern related to adult content, it became hard to see value in keeping the site up

We will soon be adding a live feed so friends can see what other friends have posted. So don't forget to upload your pics and videos!

We've just updated our site again! Now you can friend other users, or block users from seeing them or messaging you.

Also in this update tonight is a fix for video. If you've tried uploading a video and it never processed, this may fix it for you

This is our first pass at this so it might not be fully featured. We will be adding more features like searching by location soon

We're looking for a solution and should have one in the next major update of the software

In addition, we have temporarily removed the "Birthday" field as this was giving some folks problems with creating a profile

Guyzingear software has been updated! We now support Clubs for discussions with groups about a topic. Start your own club or join one today!

We are almost complete with clubs. We are finalizing some changes to email notifications as part of this and will test everything shortly
