@JohanRuiterRui1@ProtecttheFaith I disagree with taking time to remove Tucho, due to “transition protocol”.
Such a threat to the faith should have been priority #1 on day one. This has been a big disappointment. Any justification to leave him in place is both irresponsible and effeminate. No offense.
@FrDaveNix Was it really that hard to add the word “consecration” to the prayer? They already titled it and promoted it as such.
Nonetheless, when it comes to the prayer itself, where it matters most, it is entirely omitted. There’s absolutely no way this was an oversight.
@Mikmag1776@patrickmadrid Is the Holy Spirit confused, given that many Christians assert their understanding of the faith is given to them by the Holy Spirit, and yet so many come to different conclusions on very critical matters?
This is why we have the Church with its teaching authority, to know truth.
Rather than worrying about who has authority to settle doctrinal disputes, shouldn’t we be more worried about our own individual relationships with Jesus? Shouldn’t we be far more concerned about being fishers of men?
This ridiculous authority argument isn’t winning the lost to Christ. It’s driving wedges in between the found.
Let the Holy Spirit be the authority. Because He is the authority.
@FredSimonTLM Upon applying a little V2 flavor, we come to the realization that he will probably not. A direct public reprimand that would be just is beyond the scope of V2. Can she still receive communion? Absolutely, more deservingly than those TLM trads.
@ProtecttheFaith Yeah, they will eventually canonize Bergoglio. If Benedict XVI had not stepped down (I believe there were shenanigans), we most likely would have never gotten Bergoglio.
