In order to understand what this means you need to know that Brantly was the main reason ENS got so popular back in 2021-2022.
The same people who are now stealing the $500m canceled him and fired him even after all he did for ENS.
Yet he did the unthinkable and kept working on ENS until today even after having been treated the way he was. Imagine the frustration of Labs. You fire the guy, you mount a canceling campaign against him ... and yet he does not stop working on the ecosystem.
What this firing and canceling did not do, Nick and Labs managed to finally achieve today. In killing ENS by capturing the DAO and stealing its treasury there is no ecosystem to build on anymore. A naming system that people don't use is worthless. Shame it has come to that.
And despite all that, Brantly and the team shows integrity again here by declining the $1.2m grant from the DAO to keep building on the ecosystem. As there is no ecosystem to build on anymore.
They could have just taken it and slow rugged, but no they are people of integrity. I applaud Brantly and his team for doing so.
The downside that's $1.2m more for Nick and Labs to steal through their "independent" foundation ...
@scalpingod53730 had literally this conversation with a boomer today. being eyeballs deep in trendy tech stonks at peak bubble is perfectly fine. if only trump wasn't "an idiot".
they are a generation pathologically incapable of accepting responsibility for their actions or something...
You had 20 years to take advantage of zero interest rates and invest in b2b SaaS and find a good blood boy and buy a compound in New Zealand and bribe the Mฤori tribe to let you build a runway for your g650 before this global uncertainty kicked in. take some responsibility here
5 Years ago, your Federal Reserve decided supporting the flow of credit to households and businesses was part of their mandate (It's not).
They should have been stopped. (they weren't).
Like most people who get unlimited power, they're having a hard time giving it up today.
@scalpingod53730 i was thinking about it, and i don't believe the sweep is necessary. we created that feb 2 wick on enormous onchain liquidation volume; there is not enough leverage in the system now to break us below. and I don't know if we can do it on organic selling alone๐ค
BlueRaven open-sourced today, as promised!
Twitter ruined my web UX - so many things were broken that I had to make another browser extension.
This extension removes three grok buttons, fixes badge colors, re-centers the div, fixes the logo, etc. Link below!
