Bees may not have knees, but they do have incredible work ethic. Bees are responsible for pollinating up to 80% of all flowering plants. Their unconditional care for the planet is something we can all look up to and strive for.

Meet: the humble pea 🫛 Not only are they fruitful and delicious, legumes have nitrogen fixing qualities that help maintain healthy soil. This is just one of the natural processes that we utilize at the SAP in order to support sustainable growth at the farm.

How beautiful is the SAP in the evening? We’ve been busy with the harvest of greens, planting summer crops, sowing seeds, and weeding (always). We look forward to enjoying an abundance of delicious, sustainable produce in the coming months!

Unsure how to use those big, beautiful bitter greens? Here is some inspiration! When prepared correctly chard has a gorgeous, earthy flavor that can often be overlooked. Starting June 1st you can have access to local chard and other freshly grown produce from the SAP Farmstand 🧑‍🌾
