Year 3 / 4 have had an amazing morning at Cyfarthfa Park for Feel Good Friday. Teamwork was used to build dens, trees were climbed and great fun was had by everyone. A huge thanks to the PTA members for joining us on our morning out. Gwaith da pawb! @GwaunfarrenSch

@GwaunfarrenSch Year 3 / 4 had an EGGCELLENT DAY. Great effort was made by everyone in the decorate an egg event. The egg roll was EGGCITING too! Here are our photo's from the day. A lovely day finished with an Easter egg from our PTA - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!🐣🐰

@GwaunfarrenSch Year 3 / 4 have had a busy week visiting local chapels and churches to learn about the features and why these places are special to people. We would like to thank everyone we met during our visits - Horeb Chapel, St Mary's, Park Chapel and St David's.

@GwaunfarrenSch Year 3 / 4 had a lovely afternoon at Cyfarthfa Park on Friday afternoon. We would like to thank Mr Williams our class Govenor who shared with us his fantastic historical knowledge of our local area. Diolch yn fawr!

@GwaunfarrenSch Yr 3 / 4 enjoyed their Feel Good Friday - Craft Day. They designed and made masquerade ball masks. Gwaith da pawb! 🎭🎭🎭

@GwaunfarrenSch Tudor Day in Yr 3 / 4. We have been dancing, making shields, learning about the Tudor Rose and playing Tudor games. Fantastic costumes by everyone. Great effort! Gwaith da pawb!

Some of our School and Eco Council members have been busy setting up our Community Garden with fruit trees and edible plants. We can't wait to taste them! @EcoSchoolWales @Keep_Wales_Tidy @GwaunfarrenSch

Year 3 have begun to look at how things fly. So today we learnt how a Chinese lantern worked. There was lots of excitement when it lifted off into the sky.@GwaunfarrenSch 🎈🏮🎈

@GwaunfarrenSch This week has been RVE week. Year 3 have been learning about stained glass windows and how they tell the Christian stories from the Bible. Yr 3 have now produced their own stained glass windows incorporating Christian symbols. Gwaith da pawb!
