For some time now, I’ve been building and working alongside the team at Portico Strategies. Today, I’m excited to share more publicly about what we’re building and my role as Founding Partner.
Portico was built around a simple idea: healthcare leaders shouldn’t have to navigate complexity alone.
The challenges are real—regulatory and compliance demands, financial pressures, operational challenges, technology and AI, government affairs, and the constant need to grow and adapt.
Our role is to be in your corner.
We bring experience, perspective, and strategic guidance to the table, but more importantly, we work alongside our clients to help them make decisions, solve problems, advocate for their organizations, and move forward.
We don’t just advise. We partner.
I’m proud of the work already underway at Portico and even more excited about what’s ahead.

"I want the NCAA to stand down and leave [Trinidad Chambliss] alone."
@stephenasmith shares his thoughts on Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss being granted a sixth year of eligibility, with the NCAA still able to appeal the decision ✍️
OFFICIAL:
Ole Miss will host Tulane in the 1st round of the College Football Playoffs
The biggest game in Mississippi sports history will take place in Oxford, MS
When Lane Kiffin took the Ole Miss job, he made decision to become part of the community - and often does things that don’t get noticed amid football chatter.
But so thankful @Lane_Kiffin cares about and supports student wellbeing. This Giving Day, he and daughter Landry, a student @OleMiss, quietly made a very nice donation to the @olemisswmc and this isn’t the first time. The Magee Center’s work is so vital, saving, changing lives, and thankful Lane and Landry and others help make that possible.
Because, it matters. 🙏
Trace Regional Health System is now Progressive Health of Houston! So excited to be a part of this community and get the Emergency Room (closed for over 10 years now) re-opened.
Brutal week. Local business will spent the entire rest of the year digging out of the hole his has put us in. Thank you @RobynTannehill and every single employee of the @OxfordPolice@cityofoxford for your efforts this week. This could be so much worse without it. #bettertogether
