Did you know from 2018-2022, a team under .500 at 57 games made the World Series?
2018: Dodgers 27-30
2019: Nationals 24-33
2021: Braves 28-29
2022: Phillies 28-29
Astros are 25-32 right now.
What does it all mean? Nothing.
Keep in mind that, as the @Big12Conference punishes each other, the league did win over 80% of its nonconference games, including 10-3 to vs. a very good SEC. That will certainly be reflected in the analytic data but likely not the AP Top 25.
The deal was for UT to play Texas Tech (NOT "Texas schools") each year for 20-25 years. Multiple UT officials agreed to this arrangement, including @_delconte. Now they're going back on their word. If you're scared to play us, just say you're scared!!

Reality:
The #Rangers were the cheap rebrand of the failed expansion DC franchise (Senators).
The #Astros were first in this state by a full decade and actually are a true Texas team.
Every single one of their accolades had been accomplished by Houston first.
Astros last 7 seasons:
2017 : Won World Series
2018: Lost ALCS
2019: Lost World Series
2020: Lost ALCS
2021: Lost World Series
2022: Won World Series
2023: Lost ALCS
Pretty remarkable run.
