The “dead wife” in question is the foundational character of the entire Norse Saga. The ENTIRE journey Kratos and Atreus go on is because of who Faye is. Kratos ONLY finds redemption because THIS “dead wife” treated him as though he could be more.
Tf is wrong with y’all.
I’ve finished the last page of Absolute Martian Manhunter, it broke my heart to say bye to these characters and their world. When 12 comes out, there will be time for greetings, right now I feel a mix of pride and sadness. 19m, 27d, and 260p after this first sketch, here we are!
All these creators and grifters will antagonize Black folks all day but will also build brands off racism. For all the hate they spew about us, they ABSOLUTELY need our existence to make anything. Pathetic way to live a life.
Get @therightram on an Absolute title and I’ll scream. His prose and excellent pace would serve a limited series in this universe SO well. Please DC, I’m a simple creature.
Absolute Martian Manhunter #11 is my favorite comic book of all time. I’ve never found something that so effectively explains my entire philosophy about why people do bad things. I love @DenizCamp. Thank you for creating this, it’s a forever recommendation for me.
I gave away the first 2 or 3 comics I made.
I'm in talks to publish the first one I gave away in 3 different countries / markets.
Not everything is transactional.
Absolutely thrilled to say that I worked with the narrative group at @Housemarque w the fabulous @GregoryLouden in pre-production to help shape the story and characters in SAROS.
Launching on April 30th on PS5. Get your sci-fi, bullet-hell kicks here!
Corporations will never love you back.
The people you work with and alongside are always fantastic.
The machinery they're part of is heartless. I try to remind everyone who asks for career advice. You're not an employee - you're a contractor.
Negotiate accordingly.
From the Greek saga all the way through the Norse duology, Kratos is one of the most well-developed characters in video game history.
We get to see the Ghost of Sparta from childhood to having a child of his own, from pitiless anger and rage to focused fury and contrition. He started as an edgy character who represented the crude and debaucherous reality of Greek culture and myth, and eventually become a person who has rightfully realized the errors of his past and the responsibility he now has as a father and one of the most powerful forces against gods and beasts that very much resemble who he used to be. His arc is so complete, so satisfying, and so relatable.
When it comes to remaking the original God of War trilogy, creating a TV show, or even shadow dropping a 2D game, I choose to be optimistic because it means we get to see more of this fantastic character, and it'll be brought to us by many of the hands that are responsible for making his so compelling.
