🚨🇺🇦 OFFICIAL: Shakhtar Donetsk will play Champions League home games at Stamford Bridge this season.
“Playing our Champions League home matches at Stamford Bridge is a special opportunity for Shakhtar. We are grateful to Chelsea Football Club for the opportunity to host our games at this special venue”.
🚨🔴⚪️ Arsenal made contact with Atlético Madrid to discuss Julián Álvarez deal conditions.
Direct meeting took place in London with Atléti director Mateu Alemany.
Price currently too high + Julián never opened doors to England so far as wanted to join Barça… but #AFC tried.

Chest for me tonight. Don’t normally train Fridays but got some family shit on tomorrow so can’t go my normal Saturday session so we move. Hopefully gym will be quiet on a Friday evening
Liverpool FC's head coach should not be saying that the squad is thin on the weekend of the first game of the season. Not moaning, but this is a symptom of the greater issues we're experiencing higher up. Edwards gone, Hughes going. FSG seem "checked out"? Sort out the top!
If Jacob’s Is to be believed then it’s Barcola and one of a couple of wingers. Minteh just one of the options maybe making PSG review their price for Mbaye
I think Iraola and the club are probably confident they can get the midfield that won the league back to these levels off the ball. Look at possession won and duels. I don’t see why with better structure we can’t and I would defo bring in another midfielder now Jones is going
🎙️ Iraola on Team Structure and Organisation
"I don't want to be risky — risky sounds like you're not effective. I prefer to build a good team and win, rather than entertain. My teams have always been well-organised. People talk a lot about chaos, but for me, there's organisation and purpose in everything. I want everyone in my team to know what they're doing, and what their teammates are supposed to be doing too. So when something doesn't work, everyone looks at the same player and says, 'you should be here,' 'you should be the one' — and they learn from each other. This is the point we need to arrive: where everyone can solve a situation without me having to intervene."

I think Minteh at 21 and his underlying numbers is what attracts us to him, that with how Iraola platforms attackers you would hope it’s a high probability for around 50m he will be a good signing. I am pretty sure @SamMcGuire90 has done some more detailed articulate explanation
Andoni Iraola:
“I think the players have to be ready to change some of the things that they were doing, and they are very, very ready to change, very ready to learn new things.
"They are not getting it right straight away, but they want to know why. They ask the correct questions. I can even see them arguing. That is always a good thing.
"I think they are in the willingness of, 'OK, let's do it together, let's do it properly, let's fix this.' And I'm very happy with their attitude."
