@JeffreyRWRath Which is so ironic because Acden Company limited partnership has heavily profited from oil and gas which is one of the largest first nations owned companies in Canada and owned by the Athabasca Chipewyan FN…. Bit of a hypocrite
@bob711947599965@nationalpost You would hope that the majority of those judges take their oath as an officer of the court seriously… just as J Raybolt did as Justice Minister when they tried to sway her into interfering in court litigation with SNC Lavalin? But hey not very hopeful for much these days…
@GreatBig_Sea@nationalpost While the emergencies act was in effect a senator (liberal appointed and previously a judge) made a very compelling argument outlining how it failed to meet the criteria as laws already existed for them to dismantle the protests and that failing to use those didn’t make it ok
@IrwinFletcherAB@citynewscalgary@jkenney They also have a commitment to advocate for constituents and individual rights. If the majority of their represented constituency supports having a referendum on this and want their elected MLA to back them, why not? There is no law or constitutional rule prohibiting it.
@BenMulroneyShow@BenMulroney Lol, Ben journalists don’t print retractions on mainstream news stories as publicly as you corrected yourself. Get up on the cross because you know a crucifixion is the only acceptable correction these deranged individuals will accept.
@Hoodlum0404@david_parker Voting against Alberta directly and negatively impacts the rest of Canada. You are essentially boasting that you will drill a hole in the bottom of a boat that you are on just to sink someone else.
@Bigfoot784@ryangerritsen I think its called ‘hoovering’ … where narcissists feel threatened by another person withdrawing or leaving so they try to use manipulative behaviors to suck the person back into the toxic relationship
@Ryback78@KeithM190525@CoryBMorgan You don’t see Ontario doing this because the rest of the country isn’t actively cockblocking the development of their resources.
