@Macrox34737885 It's the equivalent of giving someone a hammer and immediately reminding them that screws still exist and cannot be blindly hammered. Reinforcing when not to use a tool is just as important as teaching how to use the tool
not gonna sit here and defend github's UI but it's fascinating to me that people seem to think the moment you write a line of code you're given the knowledge of how github works
we had to learn too lol it doesnt magically become intuitive the first time you write a hello world
"teaching yourself how to do things you're unfamiliar with will help you in every aspect of your life" and "github's ui is unintuitive to none programmers" can both be true simultaneously. i will never understand why programmers are so fucking thick about this.
