I don’t know if I’ve ever been hot this hard by a celebrity death.

I got to see the side of Kyle Busch that many see, but sadly it seems more didn’t. The Kyle that stopped in a rush to his hauler to sign an autograph for my daughter. When I thanked him because it meant a lot to her his reply was simply, “I always have time for a fan.”

Not only did he make her a fan that day in the garage in Kansas, he made me one too. It was his last year with JGR so must have been a tough time for him.

When he showed that caring to a 7 year old girl he made her a @nascar fan for life. Kyle, you’re a champion on the track, but perhaps more importantly a champion off the track.

Thank you, Kyle. You gave this father memories with his daughter. The value in that is priceless.

My heart and prayers go out to Samantha, Brexton, Lennix and the entire Busch family.

Just tried calling into @SiriusXMNASCAR to share the side of @KyleBusch that I got to see. The line was busy, and I’m not surprised. @DGodfatherMoody if you want to share the lighter side of Kyle, my daughter and I had a garage tour in Kansas his last year with JGR. He was rushing to his hauler, we could hardly catch him, but he was amazing to my 8 year old daughter. He signed her M&Ms hat and took a couple pictures. I thanked him profusely and he just told me that he always has time for a fan. Not only was he my daughter’s favorite, but he became mine.

I’m so saddened that our sport lost one of the greatest and my heart aches for Samantha, Brenton, Lennix and the entire. such family today. Way too soon.

Rest in Peace Champion. Not just on the track, but perhaps moreso off the track.

Wow. He became my favorite driver when he was absolutely awesome to my daughter in Kansas during a garage tour. He was hurrying to get to his hauler but he stopped and signed her hat and took a photo.

I’m in shock. Doesn’t feel like it can be real.
