With Persona's composer & personal hero of mine: Shoji Meguro !!
Last week, I got to share one of the most unforgettable evenings of my life on stage with Meguro-san:
It was the very first Persona 3, 4 & 5 live concert to ever take place in Europe.
Persona fans traveled from all over to be there, and the second Meguro-san stepped onto that stage, the whole hall gave him a standing ovation. You could feel the years of love pouring out of the crowd and going straight to him! It gave me chills.
I had the honor of hosting the show, cracking Persona jokes, and I even got to play some live bass!
But the real magic?
Meguro-san performed too, totally slaying with some guitar solos and awesome riffs on song after song.
Watching the man behind the music I've loved for years play it live is something I'll never forget.
One other reason why this concert hit different, is that the organizers chose to build it like a Persona fusion IRL.
We had a Big Band Jazz ensemble and two solo singers from Poland. A British orchestra on strings. An African choir on backing vocals. An Afro-Italian host. And Meguro-san, composer of every note, straight from Japan.
The chemistry on that stage was unlike anything I've ever witnessed. By weaving together all these different groups of musicians, the team at @GameMusicFestiv created something so much greater than the sum of its parts, one of the most unique videogame concerts I've ever been part of.
As someone who has loved this series for so long, getting to spend a couple of days with Meguro-san, playing a small bit in his concert, and even doing a game music masterclass together, honestly felt like living inside a dream.... But my favorite part of the whole thing was the Persona fans who showed up.
I've been to so many game music concerts, and while those fans are always hyped, the love radiating from the Persona crowd was on a completely different level.
I spent time with the crew backstage during parts of the show, and even they felt it. We ended up dancing together to the music, and they kept turning to me, wide-eyed, asking how music from a videogame could possibly be this good.
I felt so proud of the Persona fandom that night, for being some of the best ambassadors game music could ever ask for.
And the absolute best ambassadors among these fans were the organizers of this whole thing.
They're called the Game Music Foundation, and they're a small group of friends and gamers from Poland who, just like any of us, spent way too much time playing Persona and fell in love with its world and its music.
They've done multiple sold-out game concerts in prestigious halls before based on different games, but one of their absolute dreams was always to organize a Persona concert together with Meguro-san, having him play on stage.
You can say they achieved that dream with Colors Flying High.
I'm so proud of them, and always looking forward to seeing what concerts they'll organize next.
To all of the people in the audience who came far and wide to party with us, thank you kindly!
And to Meguro-san ( @s_megarock ), thank you for creating so much incredible music, and for coming all the way to Europe to celebrate it with us!!
FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki has made it clear that the studio will continue focusing on creativity instead of making “safe” sequels just to satisfy investors.
He believes that giving developers the freedom to create what they are passionate about is key to making truly valuable games.
“We are able to freely create the games we want to make without excessive interference,” Miyazaki said, adding that maintaining this environment is important for delivering “truly valuable games.”
Miyazaki wants future entries in series like Elden Ring or Bloodborne to happen because the team has strong ideas for them.
A prova irrefutável de que fazer um jogo bem localizado tanto em idioma quanto em preço no nosso país dá resultado.

Whoa. Haven’t seen this in YEARS. Doesn’t hold up great, but I could fill a book with stories of trying to put this teaser together, let alone trying to ship the first game. Still proud of the effort & where it led us.
The sequel was a breeze comparatively. 🫠

Nobuo Uematsu is one of the greatest composers of all time.
His work made an entire generation fall deeply in love with music, and inspired countless people, like myself, to become musicians and composers.
I met Uematsu-san and had a short chat with him, and I'm so grateful to hear that, even after all this time, he's still on the very same mission:
Writing beautiful music for the sake of those who come after.
Thank you, @UematsuNobuo !
Some facts about RE7:

Fans of Persona 3, 4 & 5:
If you've ever wanted to go to a Persona concert with Shoji Meguro outside of Japan, it's finally happening next year in London, on June 27th!
On the same day, there will also be a Hades concert during the afternoon with Darren Korb, Ashley Barrett, Austin Wintory & more special guests.
I don't think I've ever seen a more iconic concert combo than this, and I'd recommend not to miss it!
Fans of Final Fantasy Tactics & FFXII's music:
If you ever dreamed of hearing those game's soundtracks played live by an orchestra... Well, it's finally happening.
Composer Hitoshi Sakimoto is going to do a concert in London as a celebration of his 40 years long career.
The concert will be featuring arrangements of his music from games like Final Fantasy Tactics & Final Fantasy XII, but also Vanillaware games such as the iconic 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim & Odin Sphere Leifthrasir!
Sakimoto-san and I will also do a music masterclass on the same day.
On top of all of that, there will also be a Final Fantasy Pub Quiz on the same day too, hosted by FF Union & Ben Starr !
All of this will be happening in June 13th 2026 in London.
GTA San Andreas is 20 years old and it is still more detailed than games releasing TODAY. It's still insane what Rockstar managed to pull off on the PS2 hardware.
Here are 10 insane small & hidden details from San Andreas that prove it was ahead of its time. A Thread 🧵
