@SMinihane87@fut_trader_D It's clearly open to interpretation, and as a qualified ref myself, I don't see that as a red card. Remember Son's red card for the tackle on Andre Gomes, sent off for endangering an opponent, but the red was rescinded. In both cases the injury was bad, but the tackle wasn't.
@Racing_Previews A lot of talk about the government gambling bills etc killing the sport over here…its own participants regularly do a terrific job of doing that on their own!
@Racing_Previews All part of the culture. From what I’ve seen in Oz trainers are on the whole very open/genuine when talking about their horses chances/prospects regardless of trials etc. Over here, it’s all very dour and aim of the game is to keep as many people totally in the dark as possible.
@Racing_Previews Worse than that, they're actively gaslighting people trying to say they have no relevance whatsoever. Yet the same people running them, actively promote their use to trainers/owners with stats on their impressive strike rates post trial...but still...not relevant apparently 😂
@BigBearKentlaar Despite only being 9 myself, a part of me died that night in retrospect😂 Think I'd of given up with football altogether if you told me we'd not win the PL let alone UCL for the next 20 years!
@TomCantonMedia Such a flawed system, and I do feel for those on VAR sometimes. Asked to basically not be a referee and judge is it enough of a mistake/enough of a foul on a invisible 'high bar' scale. No wonder they get themselves tangled up in knots on even the most clear cut decisions.
@Dobbo0107 I do sympathise with VARs. They are asked to go against all their refereeing instincts in the current setup. Its not was it wrong, but was it wrong enough on an invisible high bar...Massively flawed but what they're being asked to do! Impossible.
@DBurg3ss_@nigel_b_golf Agree. If he was stood where it’s been suggested for the initial corner it’s a goal and 1-1 already, not chance he makes the same save. His positioning was fine, almost impossible with so many bodies flying about.
@gunnerpunner There was no editing, all our fans instantly heeded Nev’s advice and stopped over celebrating. It was only a thunderbolt to take the lead at the home of our local rivals after all…
@BigBearKentlaar We literally said exactly this a few weeks ago after United mate, and I’ve not seen much evidence of any sort of change or reaction at all. Leeds was good, the rest flattering to deceive.
@MoArsenal86 You could cherry pick any attackers from any era right now mate, and it wouldn’t help. Solely on the manager. System problem, and a VERY big one.
@HarrySymeou That’s my biggest concern with how we look atm. I’d class a lot of our players as inconsistent finishers. In games like this and Forest, we often create 1, maybe 2 high quality chances to score and too often we don’t take them. And even then, sometimes only taking 1 isn’t enough!
@themagic_tophat Nope, just a human with an opinion and a fellow Arsenal fan. Do we have to always agree with you to comment or speak normally to each other? Terrible mistake for sure, but firmly believe people can learn and develop. Refereeing on field and VAR are completely different beasts.
