For the third consecutive year, the Israeli occupation continues the crime of enforced disappearance against detainees from Gaza.

The fate of hundreds of detainees from Gaza remains unknown, as the occupation withholds their names and places of detention and denies them contact with their families and lawyers.

Palestinian prisoner institutions affirm that enforced disappearance has become a systematic policy and a cover for torture, ill-treatment and killing.

1,358 detainees from Gaza are classified by the occupation as “unlawful combatants.”

53 detainees from Gaza have been identified among the martyrs, out of 99 Palestinian prisoners and detainees who have died since the beginning of the genocide.

Enforced disappearance is a crime in itself. Revealing the fate of the disappeared is an international responsibility.
