@VictoryOwai You have a point there. It was the same penny pinching approach to Wenger used to destroy the club for ten years. Arsenal should be decisive in transfer business. That’s not asking for too much.
@Arsenalnewschan Manchester United wanted Delap last season and quick quick, Chelsea came with an outrageous bid. But Delap is now up for sale. Lesson: Don’t go into betting competitions with a drunken sailor.
@Arsenalnewschan The drunken sailors are at it again, throwing money at every problem they have. There was Mydrick before but where is he today. Do you really need a player with such small ambitions. Joining a club that is not in Europe, from one in Champions League?
@sera_bero@EduardoHagn@David_Ornstein The drunken sailors are at it again! Throwing money at every thing. Where is the one they sent a private jet for and seized his phone so he couldn’t speak to Arsenal? Murydrick?
@orireadeniyi@EduardoHagn@David_Ornstein On point. When you see a management that is spending like a drunken sailor you don’t go competing with him. They came first in player acquisition last year But 10th in the EPL.
@EduardoHagn@David_Ornstein No one asks Arsenal to compete financially with a club that buys without purpose. But when you want a player, put Money down to buy him. Don’t make noise about it!
@EduardoHagn@David_Ornstein When will Arsenal learn to go after a player it wants and conclude the transaction without so much noise without results?
Alvarez is work in progress; Bruno Guimares is work in progress; Bercola is work in progress and Morgan was work in progress until Chelsea finished it.
@LfcNuel We can blame Egypt for poor game management when they were two goals up. But officiating was poor. Infantino brought politics to football. It all started with awarding Balon Dor to Messi at times he did not deserve it, when Lewandeski ought to win, when Ronaldo should win.
The problem with Arsenal recruitment is that every season they go into dog fights over players that are not available and waste all the off season while other clubs pick unknown gems for close to nothing.
The more you watch the current World Cup matches and performances of countries, as a Nigerian you feel more pained. The current NFF should do the right thing and resign. Segun Odegbami knows how to get Nigerian football back to reckoning. Can he be allowed to run our football?
@Paulnwosu914090@_Arsenalblog And that midfielder is leading the line for Germany at the World Cup? Gyokerres is not as bad as most of you think. Alvarez is so good and his team won nothing last season. Gyokerres needs a good supporting striker and a bit of better coaching to excel.
@_Arsenalblog Well said Thierry. Gyokerres should not be swapped for any player. If Athletico cannot sell directly they should keep their player after all he was there last season and they could not beat Arsenal home or away. Gyokerres needs a dependable support not replacement.
@ArsenalNews_Hub I find myself agreeing with Kean on this. Odegard may not be in his full element but Arsenal cannot get a better player in his position. Ebere Eze was supposed to be it but we have seen the chicken and the rain coat. Odegard may not continue as captain but he should not be sold.
@absolutkylian Yeeep, they should be recalled after CR7 retires. Every team values its legend not push him through the door. For Fernandez, he should know that Portugal is not Man United where he pushed Ronaldo out and have failed since to take the club to any higher places.
@29Havertz43802 Eze has all the talent but lacks drive. Some may say he is lazy but I guess his laidback attitude is ruining his career. Talent is not enough and Eze should wake up or remain a bit-part player.
@Afc_ArsenalX1 Tonali is a good addition if Arsenal is able to get him but not at the expense of Myles. Based on the form he has recently shown in the midfield, Myles is a more flexible player than Tonali and the fact that he can play as a left back makes him a must-keep.
