A work mate braved crazy travel regulations and went to the US. When locals realise he is from Aus they say "oh your government shoots at you!". I feel so sad for our tourism industry and our international reputation. Our Premiers went waaay too far☹️. #springst#qldpol#wapol

How it started:
Sports Illustrated put a trans dude in a swimsuit on the cover of their 2023 annual swimsuit edition.
How it's going:
All of the staff at Sports Illustrated was fired today.
Go woke, Go broke ... strikes again.
“Regulation is stealth taxation, the US like many other countries, unelected bureaucrats and believe me we have them all over the place, they impose crushing anti business and anti worker regulations on our citizens with no vote, no legislated debate and no real accountability.”

“Sea level is rising at Sydney Harbor
Tide gauges, which continuously measure water height over time relative to land, are a reliable way to determine the extent of long-term sea level rise in an area, according to scientists.
This method has been used to measure sea level at Fort Denison, located in Sydney Harbor, since the late 1800s.
That long-term tide gauge “has recorded a gradual ... but fairly consistent rise in sea level of 0.1mm/yr or 3 inches/century,” according to Gary Griggs, a professor of earth sciences at UC Santa Cruz. “That rate appears to have increased over the past decade.”
Correct me if I’m wrong here but 0.1mm/year works out at a millimetre a decade and a centimetre over a century not three inches or 7.5 centimetres.
Sorry Factcheckers but the joke is on you. One centimetre over a century would have to be well within the margin of error and probably less than the surrounding land rise.

In light of yesterday's erroneous fact check on Facebook by an unaccountable foreign organisation, I have written to the Communications Minister requesting that social media censorship is stopped.
This sort of behaviour will only get worse under Labor’s proposed Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation Bill.
We cannot allow our democracy to be undermined by those who seek to control and subvert us.

“In the leaked internal letter obtained by Daily Mail Australia, Woolworths Chief Executive Brad Banducci addressed staff about the reasoning behind the decision.
'Why do we put banners up for other cultural events/days of significance like Lunar New Year or Diwali but not our own national day,' he wrote to staff.
'Celebrations like Diwali and Lunar New Year are often centred around connection over food, and as a business we are committed to supporting events and occasions like this for our customers and team.'”
Has this flog never heard of people having BBQs on Australia Day? Plenty of food is consumed at Australia Day events. What a cop out excuse.
Not to mention this bloke is a South African. He should look at his own backyard before critiquing Australia's history.

Don’t believe Albanese when he says he is giving low income earners a tax cut.
He didn’t renew the Coalitions Low and Middle Income Tax offset rebate worth up to $1,500 a year in Labor’s first budget and now he’s returning only half of it to low income earners.
None of these tax cuts make up for the average increase in household expenditure of $8,800 due to Labor’s inflation and immigration.

Not making it up: North Korea spends billions on space launches, satellites, rockets, and missiles. But the UN’s WHO is giving charity to this regime, after it requested “travel support” to fly their representative to Geneva to take his seat on Monday on the WHO executive board.
