We are celebrating British Science Week in the library this week. Students can develop their knowledge by borrowing a great book or taking part in one of our fun activities which deal with a variety of scientific themes.

Not a traditional chemistree but colourful & cheerful nonetheless. Corn syrup is a mixture of chiral sugars & is optically active. The 🌈 colours due to white light going through conc. sugar sol. between rotating linear polarisers. #OChemistree @RoySocChem
