Canada’s attacking football was relentless, with JD & CL leading d charge, while d team pressed aggressively & exploited every weakness in 🇶🇦 defense. The result is particularly significant because it is 🇨🇦 first-ever men’s FIFA WC victory, & they achieved it in emphatic fashion.
That's the spirit! A 2-point gap with 2 matches left means everything is still possible—title races often come down to moments of belief and resilience.
In Shaa Allah, may Arsenal finish the season as champions.
In the Arsenal FC vs West Ham United match, one player was clearly pulling a shirt while another was grabbing an arm, yet some still argued the goal should have stood.
Fortunately, those demanding the goal be allowed had no authority over the final decision. Rules are rules —
Thank You Arsenal for making my First Emirate Stadium Experience a memorable one
Arsenal 3-0 Fulham
Thank you @KelechiAFC for the tickets 🙏

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo fuelling tension in Plateau with divisive conspiracy-driven remarks
By: Zagazola Makama
So now, according to Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, every security crisis in Plateau is the result of a grand conspiracy involving Nuhu Ribadu, Kashim Shettima, “the Islamic Council,” and apparently anyone else he can conveniently name.
At this point, one would expect evidence. But as usual, none is provided only sweeping accusations, dramatic storytelling, and a steady diet of fear for his audience.
It is remarkable how, in his version of events, only one group suffers, only one narrative matters, and every other victim simply does not exist. Attacks on Fulani communities? Ignored. Killings, cattle rustling, reprisals by Birom militias? Conveniently omitted. Truth, it seems, is highly selective.
At a time when communities in Plateau across ethnic and religious lines have all suffered loss, it is irresponsible for any leader to continue to amplify hate. Violence in the state has been cyclical, involving reprisals, counter-reprisals, and criminal elements exploiting long-standing tensions. No group holds a monopoly on victimhood.
Even more fascinating is the claim that a “small Fulani boy” somehow has direct access to top national security leadership (Nuhu Ribadu). That would be impressive, if it weren’t so completely unsubstantiated.
And of course, when facts are scarce, conspiracy fills the gap, a coordinated plan, a hidden agenda, a government takeover. It’s a familiar script, repeat it often enough, and hope people stop asking questions.
If leadership is about responsibility, then it might be time for Rev. Dachomo to explain why his voice is loudest when it comes to accusations, but noticeably silent when it comes to condemning violence from all sides.
Peace is not built on selective outrage. And it certainly cannot survive on narratives that divide more than they heal.
Public figures, especially religious leaders, carry a responsibility to promote peace, restraint, and truth not conspiracy theories or sectarian rhetoric. Statements suggesting a coordinated agenda to “Islamise” Plateau or undermine government authority are not supported by facts and risk inciting fear and hostility among innocent citizens.
Nigeria’s security challenges are complex and multifaceted. They require unity, honest engagement, and collaboration not divisive accusations or attempts to delegitimise national institutions. The focus at this critical moment must remain on restoring peace, protecting all communities, and ensuring justice for victims regardless of ethnicity or religion.
Leaders who truly care about Plateau must rise above inflammatory rhetoric and contribute to reconciliation, not conflict.
I am deeply saddened and outraged by the gruesome murder of innocent people on the streets of Jos this morning. This senseless bloodshed in Plateau State must stop now.
President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate suspension of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria’s cashless payment policy, four days after it was introduced.
The policy, launched on the first of March by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, required electronic payments for airport access gates, parking and lounges.
However, its rollout triggered severe traffic congestion at key hubs, including Murtala Muhammed International Airport and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, with long queues reported and some passengers missing flights.
Speaking after the Federal Executive Council meeting, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, said the President had directed that the policy be halted and reviewed.
He said the ministry and FAAN would temporarily return to a hybrid arrangement allowing cash payments and the use of prepaid FAAN cards already issued.
Mr Keyamo said the President remains committed to a fully electronic revenue collection system but directed that the review should be completed quickly to restore efficiency at airport entry points.

Rano Air flight R4-2020, en route to Yelwa, departed at approximately 14:25 but was forced to return to Abuja, where it landed safely at 15:09 after reporting technical issues.
More details to follow as they emerge.
Nigeria’s future depends on our collective willingness to confront injustice and demand accountability across all regions. The North is not Nigeria’s problem. Dishonest politics, incompetence, and division are.
“President Tinubu didn’t have to send the Air Force and Military to stop the coup in Benin, he should have sent his son, Seyi Tinubu instead.”
~ Prof. Wole Soyinka speaks on Seyi Tinubu’s use of heavy security, warning: “Let’s not overdo things.”
Nigeria’s insecurity is real and devastating. Banditry, terrorism, and communal conflicts impact communities across religious lines. But reducing every incident to a religious agenda misleads the public and deepens divisions.
