It WAS the City of London banks in the 1700s who financed ALL the SLAVE SHIPS to the USA.

Pirates such as Ed Teach (Blackbeard), and Black Bart, were against slavery. They knew that it was the COL who financed not only the ships, but also the slaver crews in Africa, and the slave markets in both Africa and USA.

Bart and Teach have a history (written by the City of London so you can't believe a lot of it) of freeing slaves. They would attack the slave ships b/c of the designs of those boats (beamy but relatively fast for their day = had to keep as many humans alive as possible under terrible conditions just to be able to sell some when you reached SC, USA).

Both pirates were known to put ashore slaves with provisions. Both pirates ransomed crews back to the City of London but kept their ships.
Once Teach ransomed back a ship to the banksters. When they sent another crew and ship to pick that one up, he attacked and took their rescue vessel and crew. Sank their boat after taking the gold, then ransomed back both crews. (Fun times for all).
