Remembering Daddy cutting out a triangle from a brown grocery store bag, gluing some very thin wood in the shape of a cross on the back part. Momma took an old pillow case and cut it in strips. I colored the bag with crayons. Now we were ready to fly my kite.

When I was very young Momma took a salt box we drew little windows on it and she cut a door in front of the box. I colored the outside of it. We opened the spout for the chimney. I played with that home made doll house for a long time.
