One of the key lessons from the #COVID19 pandemic and other severe #health emergencies is that decision-making requires use of multiple information sources. To build and strengthen this capacity, @WHOSEARO has developed a multi-source collaborative surveillance (MSCS) manual which has been pioneered by #Indonesia for dengue control. 55 representatives from diverse fields including province and district health office, Meteorological, the Climate and Geophysical Agency, community representatives, epidemiologists and university researchers, participated in the first MSCS workshop in the Region organized by Indonesia's Ministry of Health (@KemenkesRI) and @WHO in Central Java from 10- 12 July.
