Clean up, aisle 5
Spokesman for @NYCEDC, which oversees NYC Groceries for Mayor Mamdani, sent me a statement today saying:
"We are not currently considering any grant programs" for grocers competing with city stores, but rather tax abatements and zoning benefits
Solar rapists at the Excelsior Solar project in Genesee County NY have begun stripping topsoil from some 3,600 acres of USDA prime farmland. A meat-and-grain American diet needs one acre of land to feed one person for a year. Put in to potatoes, corn or wheat, one acre will feed four people. Intensively tended, as in a garden or a family farm, an acre will feed five or more people a full, diverse diet. That means this Kathy Hochul-mandated project will forever destroy agricultural land that could have fed between 3,600 and 21,600 people a year in perpetuity.
New Yorkers are paying for the socialized rollout of intermittent wind and solar as the form of a “delivery charge” on your electric bill.
They use taxpayer and ratepayer money, through @NYSERDA, to court foreign solar and wind developers.
Since solar and wind aren’t reliable energy fixes for our grid, they need a disgusting amount of subsidies and credits to insulate the foreign corporations.
And we pay for it.
@JohnnyWhales3 Yup,,, these guys have talked a tough game the past several years and do absolutely nothing… all while the socialist pigs slowly make their way in.
Hi Letitia,
I am a meteorologist. Maybe I can be of some help here.
The wildfire smoke we have seen recently blanketing the skies across the central / eastern U.S. came from Canada. I attached an animation below on the left for your viewing pleasure.
Suing the Trump EPA is not going to stop forest fires any more than President Trump threatening to levy tariffs on Canada will stop them. In your case, the fires aren't our nation's problem, and in Trump's case, over 50% of fires in Canada are caused by lightning and because the majority of Canada's boreal forests are in remote locations that are difficult to access, proper forest management isn't easily feasible.
As for exceedingly high temperatures, what you are describing there is, well, summer. This your first year on Earth, lady? Summers are hot. They always have been. They always will be. And, in the case of unusual heat, the average number of heatwave events per year—defined as three or more consecutive days with daily maximum temperatures ≥90th percentile relative to 1991−2020 climatology (TX90p)—have decreased by 20.2% since the beginning of the 20th century (1994−2025 average minus 1901−30).
I am interested in scientific facts, not fairytales, and your frivolous suit should be dismissed in court no sooner than it is brought forward.

@SenatorHarckham You talk alot but rarely bring the receipts. Since it appears - and you have not refuted, that a solar company has been your top donor, why should we believe anything you say? As I have shown, commercial solar is expensive, intermittent, unreliable and despoils the land.
Mismanaging its forests isn't the only thing the Canadian government is up to north of us here in Upstate NY.
The sitting prime minister, @MarkJCarney, has present ties to Brookfield Asset Management, which will now own Fort Edward Solar and other solar industrial complexes in New York State.
Why? Boralex is being acquired by Brookfield. They are currently asking ORES, as we speak, to allow them to "transfer their solar leases without further review to Brookfield." They are also asking that ORES "do it quickly."
@USDA prime farmland, grassland habitats, water sources, and endangered species are locked up in these ORES permits. They will transfer to a multinational Canadian corporation that Carney has been caught, by the Canadian Parliament, still working in a decision-making role.
He has been brought before the Canadian Parliament and questioned about the conflicts of interest with Brookfield Asset Management. Don't believe me? Google it!
Now we have a multinational Canadian corporation, manipulated behind-the-scenes by Canada's PM, that will have access to our best resources in New York State.
Canada is not a "peaceful" neighbor to the North.
If they can't manage their forests, I suggest the U.S. offer our forest services in exchange for free energy (thanks to the moronic politicians that took reliable power offline in NY to satisfy the 2019 Climate Act) and the cancelation of renewable detention centers on USDA prime soil.
(Note: I am commenting on the Canadian government... not the citizens of Canada.)
"Kathy Hochul cares about the environment! She just put a moratorium on data centers."
Here's a quick political science 101 on what Ms. Hochul is up to by pandering to the emotions around data center build-outs nationwide right now.
Firstly, New York State doesn't have the power to support data centers. Why? Starting in 2019, to justify the Climate Act, we took over 2,000MW of reliable (nuclear) energy offline to create a "climate crisis" that they claimed we needed wind and solar to "fix."
It's why this same woman has asked you to set your thermostat to 78 this summer. It's also why there's a bill in our state senate as we speak that would give the state the right to CONTROL your thermostat.
Instead of admitting they tanked our grid as part of the green energy grift, Ms. Hochul is painting herself as a "savior from data centers" today.
This woman is also up for re-election in November. Her opponent, @NassauExec, is gaining traction on her while also outwardly proclaiming he is against ORES and what Hochul has done to our home rule.
@KathyHochul admitted for the world to see yesterday that she has the power to STOP and DISSOLVE the Office of Renewable Energy Siting at any time. But she won't. The kickbacks, foreign corporate deals, and subsidies and credits with solar and wind are worth the risk for her.
Thousands of acres of designated habitat, bald eagle nesting sites, state endangered species nesting habitat, wetlands, imperiled grasslands, and USDA prime farmland are locked up into ORES solar and wind contracts forced on our towns.
She doesn't care.
She's playing politics 101, painting herself a savior to a problem that our state can't support anyway. And it's all due to the 2019 Climate Act religion.
Tell me, oh wise extortionists, where is the 2700 MW of power that Micron needs coming from? You have destroyed the grid. Yes you, you told the morons in the legislature that wind and PV can power the state. A grade school student could look at the outputs and see that they can't.
So, where is the power coming from?
Absolutely insane story out of Syracuse, NY
A City employee who’s a registered s*x offender, was arrested on child s*x crimes after Democrat-run city council BANNED the city from asking job applicants about their criminal history
James DeSantis is a level 3 sex offender with convictions in 2005 and 2024 for child sex crimes. He’s now facing 11 new charges for attempting to r*pe a 12-year-old girl. He allegedly threatened her with a gun to meet for s*x.
James was hired by former Democrat Mayor Stephanie Miner’s admin in 2017 and was later promoted.
THE CITY DID NOT RUN A BACKGROUND CHECK ON HIM, per CNYCentral
In 2014, the city council passed the “Ban the Box Law” which restricted the city from asking job applicants about their criminal history.
Nobody even looked this guy up when he was hired.
The mayor confirmed he has since been let go of his position.
