I finished reading The Legendary Mechanic web novel. Of all the web novels I’ve read, this one I really liked. The complexity and all the thought that went into it were really well done.

Tired of Ads? Chrome's limiting ad blockers with Manifest V3, but here are some solid alternatives:

Opera:

- Built-in ad blocker, just turn it on.
- Ad-free on Android & iOS. #OperaBrowser

Brave:

- Blocks ads & trackers by default.
- Full ad blocking on mobile. #BraveBrowser

Epic Browser:

- Auto ad blocking from the start.
- Android only for now. #EpicBrowser

Firefox:

- Great with uBlock Origin.
- Built-in tracker blocking.
- Android: full ad blocking with extensions / iOS: limited due to Apple's rules. #Firefox #uBlockOrigin

Microsoft Edge:

- Works with AdBlock, uBlock Origin on desktop.
- Pre-installed on Windows.
- Android: built-in ad blocker / iOS: some tracking prevention. #MicrosoftEdge

Try these out if you're over the ad overload!

Steam has now added a warning to customers that they are only buying a license for a game and don’t actually own it.

This is ahead of a new law that forbids digital storefronts selling games from using terms like “buy” unless they tell players that they’re only buying a license.

I will never create a Sony account because I don't have a PlayStation. I enjoy playing Helldivers, but given my distrust of Sony, I feel compelled to stop. I wish Helldivers would become available on Xbox.
