• Gets selected purely on merit
• Pays full fees
• Receives no scholarship

• And still faces discrimination

I studied in a reputed government medical college - on merit. Our library had an “SC-ST Book Bank”. Our friends who belonged to the SC-ST category could borrow books (many books at any one time). They could keep renewing the loan endlessly. In effect, our friend had the books for years.
As for us that were not in the SC-ST category- we were allowed to borrow ZERO books. Yes, you read that right. We could not borrow any books. We could sit in the library and study- that is all.

There is Reservation in govt colleges. So you study in private & pay huge fee

Then, you fill 100s of govt job forms & pay 1000/form

But there is Reservation in govt jobs. So, you get private job where you pay huge taxes

Then why the assumption is that low rankers are SC/ST only? Aren't SC/ST also qualifying under general merit?

Anyways, simple logic: If taking admission on these ranks is not shameful,,revealing them also shouldn't be!
