So that's the end of the #cyberlympics this year and the end of our live stream. Thanks for tuning in and supporting us via Twitter.

We are glad that the top 3 of the #cyberlympics this year contains two teams from Europe and the gold medal is being taken home to the Netherlands.

And for the first place, the gold medal goes to SectorC. After years of battling with these guys, @_SectorC takes home the cup to the Netherlands.

In second place, from Europe: TeamNX @NixuTigerTeam. If I remember correctly this is their first year. Nice to see a European team in the top 3! A well deserved 2nd place!

In third place for the finals, TSS from Australia. Well done guys, we have been battling nicely with you guys on the score board yesterday. Well deserved. #cyberlympics

There it is, the Hacker Halted day 2 keynote is starting, including the awards ceremony. #cyberlympics

Announcement, the ceremony is going to get started in about three minutes.

We are feeling the exact same, it has been a pleasure playing with all of the teams, but specifically @NixuTigerTeam, @TSSCyber and @_SectorC, all of which were very worthy opponents yesterday in the #cyberlympics.

@_SectorC I’m with my boys, MY TEAM, heading to the @CyberLympics finals and no matter what the final results are, I couldn’t be prouder. We loved playing the game together with @TSSCyber @NixuTigerTeam @hackersftw - you guys were great!

No matter the final result, we are proud of our team members. The first and foremost reason of playing CTF's for us is team training and bonding. And of those elements, we have had a lot for this #cyberlympics !!

We hit some traffic, but we made it in time for the #cyberlympics awards ceremony, which should be starting shortly.

And with the clock at 5 PM, the #cyberlympics finals of 2018 have ended. This has truly been an exciting finale.

In the end that means that we will only know definitively tomorrow morning at the award ceremony (9 AM EDT) who ended 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Another announcement was just done that the scores on the score board do not include everything. Lock picking, the bluetooth lock in the beginning and some other factors still have to be taken into account for the final scoring. #cyberlympics

And with 10 minutes remaining on the clock, nothing much has changed on the board. Anything can still happen of course.
