@Orteil42 Sounds like a case for storing recipes on the blockchain.... could be the next angel startup, just gotta find a way to throw AI in there somewhere
@deadalnix The vaccination data did actually imply to be more effective in preventing spread as it looked like asymptomatic infections were unlikely to spread. I.e, the goal of the vaccine is the lessen the symptoms, which could lessen transmission rate as a side-effect. Not a goal
@deadalnix False. The intention has always been to not hospitalize people for months, to prevent clogging up our healthcare.
Which the numbers say has in fact worked.
@jspujji I recently saw an article about how apps have unrestricted access to the accelerometer, which can allow them to get speech. Facebook actually reads the accelorometer all the time. Although it has a legit reason, it could potentially be abused

@jdogrx@Mngk @HStarshot This literally is a non-response. Do you think that the issue i just described goes away?
We already knew that the delta variant is a gamechanger, but
1. Delta isnt as widespread
2. Numbers are still quite clear, over 90% of hospitalizations are unvaccinated people.
@jdogrx@Mngk @HStarshot Other than that, you're misunderstanding, viruses have a *tendency* to prefer being infectious because a too deadly strain will kill off the hosts. This doesn't proclude or disallow a virus from mutating to become more lethal, just that evolutionarily it probably won't survive.
@jdogrx@Mngk @HStarshot Corona killing the host isn't the main issue here, it's that we can't handle the influx of sick people. And that's something that will affect everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
So, it doesn't need to be lethal to be a killer.
@XxPh3420@brokep@BenjaminDousa Ok, så då kan jag bygga en stor mur runt alla storstäder så vi inte kan expandera ytterliggare där det inte längre finns vägar
@discodamone@brutelogic By no means are attackers stupid or lazy necessarily, but it's a lot easier to be a successful stupid attacker leveraging pre-built tools than it is being a successful stupid defender
@discodamone@brutelogic Well, unless you understand what you're copypasting it's probable you're leaving other vulnerabilites. Stopping some attacks isn't good enough when you're defending, you need to predict and protect yourself against any and all vulnerabilites, because it only takes one to pop it
@Emilio_Morale_s @LtsMadman @Prokolipsi @wolveast@xxbruhgrammerxx@Gusbuckets Lol why are you arguing with us about arguing? Everything that could've been said has definitely not been said.
But other than that, the only way to evolve your train of thought and rhetoric is to practice. That's why.
@LtsMadman @Prokolipsi @Emilio_Morale_s @wolveast@xxbruhgrammerxx@Gusbuckets Ok so where does it refute the main statement that they had to step on people to get where they are?
