@KoikkalK18796@Ishodas_Thomman@arish_vr Thendis don't know the difference between Ancient Tamil Kings and Medieval Tamil Kings. After all, they don't even know their own history of how they pimped their women in Tharavadu to Brahmins and became Thendis.
@LiquidizerGroyp@A_RacistBassist@Dyer_Darkwood@ericweinstein 6. The only reason you managed to hold on for those 70 years was that native soldiers preferred the steady, better pay of the British army over the old hereditary warrior system where you fought and died for your own kingdom.
@LiquidizerGroyp@A_RacistBassist@Dyer_Darkwood@ericweinstein 4. You didn’t just leave voluntarily. You were managing resistance the whole time, and by World War II you were worried about your own position. You basically begged Indian leaders that if India supported the British war effort, you’d leave afterward.
@LiquidizerGroyp@A_RacistBassist@Dyer_Darkwood@ericweinstein 3. So you set up the Indian National Congress in 1885 so Indians could have a political voice and help run the country as part of the British Empire, keeping the subcontinent united under British rule. So don't mix up how you colonized Africa with what happened in India.
@LiquidizerGroyp@A_RacistBassist@Dyer_Darkwood@ericweinstein 1. Did you actually read any of the things I shared?
Before the mid-19th century, the British were mostly making treaties and peace deals between Indian kingdoms more like an external power brokering agreements (closer to today’s UN) than a full colonial ruler. Plenty signed on.
