@QuickPaw I attempted to correct that. However, there appears to be a problem with the codec when decoding full frames. In the past, it wasn't noticeable when playing on CRTs or TVs.

M2Suite build 65 is out.
Two 3DO video formats that never had an open decoder now play and export
to MP4:
• Duck TrueMotion (Gex)
• ReadySoft SASQ (Space Ace) - WIP

The sprite fix: an 8-bit 3DO cel keeps a per-pixel brightness value in the
top 3 bits of every byte. We were masking it off, so everything rendered
posterised.

Model the cel engine's pixel processor, and the shading comes back.

Space Ace's FMV was in fact a palletised scrolling canvas. Raw keyframes, and scroll-in strips. Then a standard 3DO packed cel composited over them each frame. 12fps exact, audio is sync authority. Dragon's Lair makes use of an older version of the same container. Not yet decoded

Gex's .DUK movies keep their codebook in sidecar files (.HDR/.TBL) rather
than compiled in, which is exactly why FFmpeg and ScummVM can't touch them.
The decoder is a port of The Ur-Quan Masters 0.8.0, the only known working one.
