Cllr Anntoinette Bramble, Hackney Labour Group Leader & Cllr Anna Lynch, Deputy Leader: ‘While there may be challenges ahead, the new Green administration inherits a council that is stable, functioning, ambitious, full of potential. Your blank canvass starts with a Labour legacy’

Hackney Central needs someone like Sheila who is deeply rooted in the community, understands the challenges residents face, and is committed to delivering real change. Strong local voices matter. Vote Labour, vote for Sheila on the 25th June
Just catching up with my lovely friend Bosede, haven't seen her for a long while. So good to see the path she has chosen. Our Hackney is full of wonderful people of All Faiths and this has been our strength over the forty five years I've lived here.

It's fantastic that the wall on Murray Grove has been repaired by @hackneycouncil, after I raised this weeks ago on behalf of local residents.
It wasn't just a bad eyesore, it was a hazard for pedestrians and those living on Provost Estate.
Thankfully it's looking much better!
Lambeth Greens campaigned hard to bring back a committee system. Last night they quietly dropped that promise and voted for a cabinet system instead. At least they remembered to vote to increase the size of their allowances!
Mad how many promises the Greens have already broken.
We've just served up 10 million of something... guess the first letter of each emoji for a clue as to what it's all about. Answer below 👇
Answer: Free Brekkie Clubs - because we've served 10 million free breakfasts so far with hundreds of thousands of children benefitting, and more to come this year.

Social media companies must be held accountable for the harmful misogyny on their platforms.
Bottom line: If these companies can’t guarantee children’s safety, then kids shouldn’t be on them.
I’m pleased that the abhorrent antisemitic hate graffiti spotted in E5 was removed yesterday, after I and others reported it.
Thanks to Hackney Council officers for acting swiftly.
There’s no room whatsoever for this vile hatred in our borough.
Looking through some old pre- digital photos and came across this one, a young Benjamin Zephaniah, sitting in my living room. A family friend in those days, who knew his legacy. We miss him still ✊🏽
We’ve hit a big milestone… 1️⃣0️⃣
Since launching our free breakfast club programme, we’ve been giving children across our country the best start to their day.

The modern world is leaving many young men feeling isolated and confused. In their search for answers, they are turning to online influencers selling rigid and harmful ideas about what it means to be a man.
Today at SXSW London, I led a much-needed discussion on what we can do to support boys and young men to find their own sense of self-worth and reject the manosphere.
This is the difference this Labour government is making.
Kids starting the day full and ready to learn, no matter their background.
An achievement all Labour MPs can be proud of- and opposed by the Conservatives and Reform.
I'm standing for Hackney Central,
my home for over forty years. I live here, in this community, as your neighbour, not nearby, on Wilton Estate. I know this place. I live it. I will fight for things that matter and make sure that Hackney Central has a voice that truly knows it.
On 25 June, Dalston goes to the polls, and I'm standing again.
I've fought for cleaner streets, protected Dalston's cultural and heritage spaces, and campaigned for step-free access at Dalston kingsland station.
Vote for experience, action, and a strong local voice on 25 June
