it's okay to not like the art. you don't even need a reason. but generally when we don't like art we scroll past it and forget. this incessant parading and ridiculing for months on end now points to a clear deeper issue
because the artist didn't get her anatomy right. does it really matter? no hateto op but it makes me really sad to see this drawing still being torn apart by bad-faith critics even now, all because the art is 'bad' or the charas 'wrong' for whatever reason. cant we just move on
i probably should keep this on the priv but i want it to be seen. ive never actually seen any actual criticism for this art other than 'proportions are weird!' 'rarity is disabled!' and it's like.. are you hearing yourselves?
tbh im gonna be too woke & say that insisting he's orange undermines his whole trans allegory he's doing like his deal is that he had to fight to be himself after being forced to be someone he's not, why would you erase that & force him to adhere to his birth charcteristics again
Nightheart with even a speck of ginger I'm sorry it's so annoying 😭
This doesn't happen that much anymore but whenever 2 cats have identical description but people make all the women lighter and the men darker....
i don't dislike the idea of a tortie cat ""denying"" their tortie markings bc of gender identity but that's a much too blatant queet storyline for warriors. the ick for me with nightheart comes in when he spends 6 books talking clearly about his appearance and his identity +
