A lot of the crazy people these days just straight up hate men. They decided it's ok to discriminate against certain genders, races, religious beliefs, sexualities, etc. but only if it's against their one designated "bad guy" in each category, as a way to channel their hate (and for political gain).

That sounds firmly in "sexualizing a minor" territory to me, reducing him to sexual urges.

The first thing that attracted me were the models: Tau specifically (I grew up with Power Rangers, Voltron, Robotech, Gundam, etc.) and Sisters of Battle (I love angels as well as the religious/Christian imagery).

I think part of it is that I was looking for something to replace Star Wars after it became absolutely horrible (I was a HUGE Star Wars fan growing up).

I do enjoy the lore and army building. My most common free-time activity these days is just making new army lists or tweaking them, but always in the context of something thematic or for some new chapter/cadre/order/whatever I've come up with and the explanations behind it. I like to think of it as a creative exercise.
