Its a deeply uncomfortable act to be introspective and ask yourself, how am I holding up systems of oppression/racism? My friends and I have been asking ourselves these questions in recognition of the internalized racism that exists in many communities and ultimately within us.

@javeedsukhera brings up the issue of “nice racism” in Canada - this idea is so deeply embedded into our society that I urge everyone to reflect on it. Especially the white members of our community.
