The Qur’an teaches us that Joseph rushed toward his PARENTS when they came to Egypt. This appears to go against the Biblical narrative where Joseph’s MOM was already dead by this point.

However, some commentators emphasized that “the mother” mentioned by Jacob actually had a referent in reality. Rashi stated the "mother" turned out to be Joseph's mom's handmaiden (who raised Joseph "like a son" & with whom Jacob had children) [7/8]

The "maternal aunt" in the tafsir likely refers to Bilha not Leah. Rashi clearly held that Bilha was alive during the reunion
