BREAKING: Communal tension erupts in UP's Ghazipur after a 52-year-old utensil shop owner, Shabbir Ahmad, allegedly abducted a minor Hindu girl into his shop, raped her, and attempted to kill her.

Reportedly, the child was passing by Shabbir's shop when he called her under some pretext.

Once she arrived, he abducted her, tied her hands and legs, and allegedly raped her. Fearing getting caught, he attempted to kill her by packing her in a drum on his shop's terrace.

When the worried family began looking for her, some children informed the parents that she was last seen going into his shop, which led to Shabbir's arrest.

Heavy police force has been deployed in the village to maintain law and order.
