Look, I'm going to say this now...

We need to support this game, like 100% of the way. Not just for the Brave Exvius story to continue if it does get enough rep, but for 2D JRPGs to get remasters or remakes in a similar style to keep this genre alive. Some of the greatest Final Fantasy games came from this generation of 2D turn-based gaming, and I know a ton of people would love them too if we can show them and give them a chance to experience it!

Nintendo has reportedly suffered a setback after Japan’s Patent Office rejected one of its Pokémon-related patent applications.

The patent covered touchscreen gameplay features like moving your character, throwing an item to catch creatures, sending them into battle, and choosing commands during fights.

According to the patent office, those ideas weren’t new enough.
The examiner pointed to several earlier examples, including a Pokémon fan game shown on YouTube in 2013, saying similar mechanics were already public before Nintendo filed the patent.
