hiding behind a mask is so fun yet so incredibly tiring, but i do not want the world to see how vulnerable i am at the lowest point of life. however, i do think it is important to share your vulnerability with others as i think it is something we lack.
i think the most ironic fact about myself is communication has never been my strong suit, but boy, can i write a poem or a small piece about how a situation made me feel and share it with the world.
sometimes i reminisce on the past, and i know i should let it go, but i was much more out-going and social compared to now. it's disappointing to see myself stray from something that, even though my social battery would drain, would bring me a bit of joy.
writing, at the worst times, feels like a chore that i am burdened by every other week, but it's a chore needed to hold my sanity together or else i will begin to act on impulse and leave a mess for future me (me in the morning) to clean up.
