For me, this match was Yuki Ishikawa unleashed. It wasn’t perfect play, but this is him—the Yuki we know. He’s so hardworking, part of the ABS club too, and we finally saw his blocking.

It's easy to judge from behind a screen.
It's harder to play through pain, shoulder the expectations of a nation, and still ask for the ball.
That's what Yuki Ishikawa did.
be grateful when you can see your favs playing in a good health, away from injuries bc we never know what would happen to their life as an athlete. it’s also pointless to downgrade other players while hyping your favs.
may these players recover well 😔
Today’s game still proved the point. Yuki remains the glue that holds that team together. His voice still carries, his command is felt, and his presence is still something the team naturally responds to.
Yuki had 36 receptions yesterday for 5 sets. Today, he had 26 in just 2 sets. The opponent's whole gameplan was built around targeting him and ONLY him, because he's YUKI ISHIKAWA. Every1 else had less pressure & performed better because of it
So you dumb btchs better stay quiet
