Recently, as the organizer of the “Kim Hyunwoo Shanghai Fan Meeting,” we have noted that some internet users have been posting inappropriate remarks and related false information on online platforms targeting artist Kim Hyunwoo, including insults, defamation, and malicious slander. These statements are suspected of infringing upon Mr. Kim Hyunwoo’s reputation rights and have already caused substantial negative impact on his personal reputation and normal work arrangements.
In order to protect the artist’s lawful rights and interests and to ensure that the event proceeds in a healthy and orderly manner, and based on the formal authorization and request of the artist’s agency and Mr. Kim Hyunwoo, we hereby issue the following solemn statement:
Any organization or individual posting information on the internet must comply with laws and regulations, respect the lawful rights and interests of others, and must not use the internet to engage in activities that infringe upon others’ reputation, privacy, or other legal rights. Rights holders reserve the right to pursue legal responsibility in accordance with the law for online statements suspected of infringement. In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China, as well as agreements related to this event, we will take necessary measures.
Based on investigation and confirmation by the artist’s side, the actions of internet users who have published or spread insulting or defamatory statements, or clearly false information about Mr. Kim Hyunwoo, constitute disruption of the order of this event and infringement upon the artist’s lawful rights and interests. For verified accounts and individuals, we will take the following measures:
1. Ban from participation: Disqualification from attending the “Kim Hyunwoo Shanghai Fan Meeting.”
2. Event package handling: For those who have already purchased event packages, the fees will be refunded through the original payment channels.
3. Evidence retention and accountability: We and the artist will retain relevant evidence of infringement and, depending on the severity, reserve the right to pursue further legal liability in accordance with the law.
This decision is made by us as the event organizer after the artist’s side provided preliminary evidence and made a formal request. It is a management measure taken to fulfill the organizer’s responsibilities and maintain event order. We support the artist in safeguarding his legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law.
We call on all fans and internet users:
- To strictly comply with the requirements of the national internet authority’s “Clean-Up” campaign, use the internet in a civilized manner, and speak rationally.
- To respect the artist’s personal rights, refrain from creating or spreading unverified information, and jointly oppose cyberbullying.
- To foster a positive and healthy online environment and event atmosphere, and focus attention on the artist’s works and performances.
We have always been committed to providing a professional and safe environment for both the artist and fans. For any actions that disrupt event order or infringe upon the artist’s rights, we will maintain a firm stance and handle them strictly in accordance with laws and regulations.
Hereby declared.
Someone on c-sns had been spreading false allegations via anon accounts and posting click-bait contents implying that mz had did something terribly wrong for months (pure text with zero proof at all). Some of these contents had been deleted shortly after but each time rumours like these surfaced, they caused commotions within the c-community with people questioning if mz had actually done what was alleged. This probably isn't the first time such false accusations have been brought to his attention, but instead of continuing to endure (out of his unnecessarily kind nature as always) he will be taking appropriate actions if such incidents were to happen again. https://t.co/4YFOAEW9p3

Hello, this is a bit of a heavy topic, but after giving it a lot of thought, I wanted to carefully speak up.
I recently became aware, through Xiaohongshu and Weibo, that there are stories about me circulating that are not true, including things I did not do and claims that do not reflect the facts. At first, I thought things might settle with time, but seeing people I care about getting hurt, and my sincere efforts being distorted, has been very painful.
These claims are not true. Creating and spreading false rumors is clearly wrong, and moving forward, in order to protect myself and all of you, I will respond firmly.
To everyone who has always believed in me and supported me, I will continue to do my best to show you better sides of MUZIN and better performances. Thank you.
