@lionelrudaz I think you can achieve reasonably high density with detached or semi detached homes on 300-400m2. The density is comparable to what is achieved with 4 story blocks that require larger free spaces.
@aidamars Lol! Actually some tines i ride my bicycle for an hour or two through the countryside and i will see maybe 1-5 humans, but a hundred cars and a thousand homes. But where are all the humans gone??
@AbsPro2016@Hribson His "say no to roundabouts" protest is not pure wisdom. Roundabouts are more efficient and reduce fatalities by ~90%. Please tell him.
@UrbanCourtyard We could get rid of the 2.4m height requirement for rooms (in some parts of switzerland). A human is roughly 1.7m on average, so no reason to build living floors so high, and that leaves space for the commercial ground floor.
@Marco_mmabjj Yes you can build aircon, but first you need to tear down the building and rebuild it. Problem is many old buildings are protected, so no renovation is economically possible.
