NEWS: A foreign national has been arrested after he was overhead allegedly telling his fellow countrymen that they must make a plan to get Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma, the leader of the March and March Movement killed.

The foreign national of Arabic origin said this while in a queue at the Durban Refugee Centre on Moore Road to apply to be documented, claiming he is an asylum seeker.

If this report is true, it raises a serious national security concern for South Africa. The United States has sent deportees, including people described as dangerous criminals, to Eswatini, from where they were allegedly released into South Africa through informal border crossings.

That would be a grave breach of border security and would put people in South Africa at risk. The allegations need to be urgently investigated and verified by the authorities.
