Tune In! In celebration of Thanksgiving, East Park made corn muffins, wrote recipes, painted sun catchers, and engineered a camouflage hide out for a turkey. The students baked 321 homemade muffins. They talked about fractions, arrays on muffin tins, and sequence of recipes.

A priceless sea of gold represents that Pleasant Valley Elementary School, a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School, BEE-Lieves in celebrating greatness of students, staff and families. The school celebrated today as the national distinction plaque was brought home from Washington, DC.

Always a great show with The Clarks and their smart, passionate, and timeless lyrics, so I was even more of a fan when I left The Palace last night and I overheard Scott Blasey catching up with one of his former high school teachers, who he sought out to thank. It was great to listen and talk a little shop about today in education. Never doubt the power of a teacher! @theclarks

Turn It On! as the Marion County Toy Shop is underway with assistance from North Marion and Marion County Technical Center students who volunteered with set up of the Christmas Toy Shop.  Students were led by Mrs. Sabrina Hampton and assisted by Reverend Saunders.

Turn It Up! at Monongah Middle as students are making connections between terms they hear in science and math class with plays of on the athletic field. They are talking energy and how it applies to field goals with the WVDE STEAM Technical Assistance Center teams from WVU.
